New York – Working MotherMagazineand SHOOK Researchrecently released their 2020 Top Wealth Advisor Moms list, which expanded this year to recognize 500 of the top working mothers in the financial services industry today.

In the article accompanying this year’s list, two �۶���Ƶ Advisors provided advice on how readers can secure their own financial futures in the wake of the pandemic:

 “Many women are feeling pinched in this environment, paying bills and homeschooling their children during the pandemic. But this is a great time to be saving, planning for the future, and looking for stocks and bonds at a discount,” said Laura Wellon, Senior Vice President—Wealth Management at �۶���Ƶ Financial Services Inc. in Atlanta.

“Everyone should be revisiting their assumptions after the pandemic,” said Andrea Bevis, Senior Vice President—Wealth Management at �۶���Ƶ’s Private Wealth Management division in Boston. “Are you going to retire later than expected? Is the sale of your business now pushed out another three years rather than this year? Do you need to take care of your long-term care planning needs? These all need to be retested and re-planned during times of crisis.”

Working Mother Magazine's Top Wealth Advisor Moms list is comprised of 500 financial advisors. The criteria is based on quality of practice, industry experience, working mother status, compliance record, assets under management, revenue and algorithm results by SHOOK Research. SHOOK Research considered women advisors with a child 21 or younger still living at home. Ranking algorithm is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service models, investing process, client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, etc.; and quantitative criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither �۶���Ƶ Financial Services, Inc. nor its employees pay a fee in exchange for these ratings.
