Hannes Schoch (61)* is the kind of man who leaves nothing to chance. The HR divisional manager of an insurance company also scrupulously prepared his regular pension. Three years ago, accompanied by his wife, Marlies (61), Hannes attended a comprehensive information evening at the invitation of ۶Ƶ on the topic of pension planning. This was the first in a chain of decisions, at the end of which –six months later – he was unexpectedly able to realize a lifelong dream: early retirement.
That was two and a half years ago. “It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” he says, looking back. “Now, I finally have more time for my family and to travel with my wife.” The Schochs have two adult children. Marlies is a housewife and was a stay-at-home mom.
