Community stewardship of local natural resources, in United States
The Five Star and Urban Waters program reconnects people with nature by supporting local community led projects that restore and sustain natural resources within those communities. Projects include nature-based infrastructure, restoration of local waterways, forests and wetlands as well as a strong focus on local engagement, particularly in urban areas and under-served neighborhoods.
