Luminos Fund
Help Syrian refugee children get back to school in Lebanon
Lebanon, a country of only 6.8 million people, is host to 1.5 million Syrian refugees, including 488,000 children. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE) in Lebanon has made the extraordinary commitment to enroll all refugee children in the public school system, but help is needed to close the learning level gaps children face after years of missed schooling. The Luminos Fund manages remedial and preparatory education, as well as post-transition academic support programs, to help vulnerable Syrian children succeed.
Contributions to this program are Zakat eligible and will be matched by 20% from the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Optimus Foundation. The match is currently capped at USD 200'000, donations over this threshold will be matched at 10%
