Using the setup wizard in e-banking, you can easily block all countries to which you haven't yet transferred any money – and you can change this any time.

1. Log in to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ E-Banking.
2. Under "Payments" in the navigation on the left-hand side, select "Settings > Security settings > Country restrictions".
3. Click "Setup wizard".
4. The list provides an overview of all countries to which you have already transferred money.
5. Check whether these countries are to continue to be available for online payments. Adjust the selection if necessary.
6. Click "Apply setting". With immediate effect, all other countries will be blocked for online payments.

Tip: You can also block countries at any time in the Mobile Banking App under Réglagles & service> Self-Service > Set up country restrictions.

You can restrict the use of yourÌýMaestro card by geographical location, choosing to use it worldwide, in Europe or only in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. That’s one example of how you can further protect yourself against the misuse of your card.

1. Log in to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ E-Banking.
2. In the navigation, select "Cards > Debit cards > Self-service".
3. Your debit cards will be listed.
4. Click "Edit" next the utilization region for the respective Maestro card.
5. Determine whether the card may be used worldwide, throughout Europe or only in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Temporary settings are possible as well.

For your personal security, you can set a payment limit in E-Banking or the Mobile Banking App for all payments entered within one calendar month as well as a specific daily limit or transaction limit for instant payments.

You can deactivate online payments for individual accounts if you have several of them.

1. Log in to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ E-banking.
2. Under "Payments" in the navigation on the left-hand side, select "Settings > Security settings > Deactivate accounts".
3. Set the switch for accounts that you would like to block for online payments from active (green) to blocked (red).

Tip: You can also block your accounts any time in the Mobile Banking app at «Settings & services > Self-service > Deactivate accounts».

Stay informed of account activity and card transactions via push notifications, text messages or e-mail. That way, you’ll always stay on top of your banking.

Always start the login process on ubs.com. When establishing a connection, ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ e-banking provides you with a digital certificate. Here’s how you can check its authenticity:

1. Click on the padlock symbol shown in the address bar (once or twice).
2. The certificate displayed in the popup window must correspond to one of the following certificates.

When using the Mobile Banking or Access app, verification is automatic.

Always log out when you’re finished: you can do so with the Logout button in the top right corner of e-banking or under Logout in the Mobile Banking app menu.
We recommend after logging out.

Don't write down any PIN numbers or passwords; memorize them instead.
This especially applies to PIN numbers and passwords for debit and credit cards, payment solutions and your Access card.
